It’s a procedure done in the most sophisticated hospitals around the world. A robotic gastrectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that removes part or all of the stomach using a robotic arm. The operation is carried out to treat stomach cancer.

The Homs of Santiago and its Bariatric and Metabolic Institute (Meta Integra) announced the carrying out of a successful total gastrectomy operation describing it as a significant milestone in the nation’s medical history and an accomplishment that underscores the hospital’s commitment to innovation and advanced technology in healthcare.
