taking a trip along the whole coastline of DR

I am thinking of taking a road trip around the whole DR...along the coast line and then beside the Haiti border ( start in pop then samana, punta cana, santo domingo etc.)


Anyone done this before? What should I look out for?

You really cant travel north-south along the Hatian border per say, There are roads that lead to Hati but not really that run north south except maybe Dajabon-Monti Cristi and maybe along some parts on southwest coast.
