It is a sushi joint in Cab, never knew they had Thai. I wouldn't eat Sushi outside of the renowned places in Santo Domingo (and still at that, very cautious). Lord knows there is no way Sosua and Cab have good sushi-grade fish. If they did, only a small % of that community could afford to eat there.Yamazato sounds Japanese

You must be thinking of the Curry Corner in Sosua. Delicious!Thai food in Cabarete is something to rave about! I haven't had the pleasure of trying out Cook's Crafter yet, but the buzz is that they've nailed the classics like Pad Thai and green curry.

Thai cuisine is all about that perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors, and from what I hear, they hit the mark. I'm a sucker for fresh ingredients and vibrant dishes, so this sounds right up my alley.Thai food in Cabarete is something to rave about! Hey Northern Coast; I'm in Santiago, where do you recommend for the best chivo in the area. Have horse and willing to travel! Thanks! You must be thinking of the Curry Corner in Sosua. Delicious!
Just head west on Highway 1 from Santiago. In about an hour, you will see that all the restaurants along the road advertise chivo. I always go with Chivo Picante. That whole area of the country has wild oregano growing. The goats love it, and it imparts a great flavor to the meat. I don't have a favorite restaurant, as I have tried many and enjoyed all.Hey Northern Coast; I'm in Santiago, where do you recommend for the best chivo in the area. Have horse and willing to travel! Casa Antigua in Tubagua (on the tourist route from santiago to pop) really great chivo!Hey Northern Coast; I'm in Santiago, where do you recommend for the best chivo in the area. Have horse and willing to travel! Thanks!
If you like your sitting hung up in the sun and covered in flies, (as most in most "Chivo restaurants"), try the one just near the Military Base in CangrejoHey Northern Coast; I'm in Santiago, where do you recommend for the best chivo in the area. Have horse and willing to travel! Thanks!
Remember my story about the Hamburger place in Puerto Plata with 30 different types of hamburgers on the menu, and they were out of hamburger meat?Reminds me of one restaurant we stopped at somewhere along Duarte Hwy I think. Its name was something like Casa de Chivo. We sat down and a waiter appeared and stood there. Mr AE asked for a menu. He replied “we have chivo”. “And what else?” “ “Chivo”.
