It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous!

Yamazato sounds Japanese
It is a sushi joint in Cab, never knew they had Thai. I wouldn't eat Sushi outside of the renowned places in Santo Domingo (and still at that, very cautious). Lord knows there is no way Sosua and Cab have good sushi-grade fish. If they did, only a small % of that community could afford to eat there.

Thai food in Cabarete is something to rave about! I haven't had the pleasure of trying out Cook's Crafter yet, but the buzz is that they've nailed the classics like Pad Thai and green curry.
Buy a jar of yellow, red or green curry at Janet’s .
A pound of chicken filet and coconut milk, some vegetables and Bob is your Thai uncle ..or aunt.

Thai cuisine is all about that perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors, and from what I hear, they hit the mark. I'm a sucker for fresh ingredients and vibrant dishes, so this sounds right up my alley.
If you're feeling adventurous, they likely have some dishes that pack a punch with heat, which could be a fun challenge. Exploring new food spots is one of my favorite things to do, so I'm eager to hear your firsthand experience if you decide to give it a go. Sharing food finds is like swapping stories, and I'm always on the lookout for the next great meal.

Hey Northern Coast; I'm in Santiago, where do you recommend for the best chivo in the area. Have horse and willing to travel! Thanks!
Just head west on Highway 1 from Santiago. In about an hour, you will see that all the restaurants along the road advertise chivo. I always go with Chivo Picante. That whole area of the country has wild oregano growing. The goats love it, and it imparts a great flavor to the meat. I don't have a favorite restaurant, as I have tried many and enjoyed all.

If you like your sitting hung up in the sun and covered in flies, (as most in most "Chivo restaurants"), try the one just near the Military Base in Cangrejo

Reminds me of one restaurant we stopped at somewhere along Duarte Hwy I think. Its name was something like Casa de Chivo. We sat down and a waiter appeared and stood there. Mr AE asked for a menu. He replied “we have chivo”. “And what else?” “ “Chivo”.

😊

Remember my story about the Hamburger place in Puerto Plata with 30 different types of hamburgers on the menu, and they were out of hamburger meat?
