If you have suggestions, feedback or something to contribute, either post it on the forums or PM or email me.

Perhaps part of the problem is that there are too many of the type of side deals you suggest - PM's, e-mails...out of public view activities...I dunno

Here's a suggestion.... next time you tweaking the site over a few beers, ask the group why the "Feel Good" threads keep failing.

This has been tried a few ways...I was in on at least one of them.

The Dominican Beauty seems to survive ....... photos are nice.

I'm probably just like you are..... stumbling and feeling my way along trying to suggest a way to make something work .

You have a solid following...perhaps unruly at times, sporadically helpful at other times.

Are all of these types of boards run in this manner?
Do any have paid professional management?

Please understand these are innocent questions... just asking

Maybe others have comments or questions or suggestions...I hope !!?

If you have anything specific you would like to see or have
some ideas how we can improve DR1, we are all ears.

The "badpiece" forum was suggested by badpiece33 himself months ago.
It was only after chatting with him in NY recently over a few beers with
some of our mods that we decided to run it for 24hrs for some fun.

We are not stumbling, we have a pretty clear direction at DR1, new sections, layouts, features etc. Some are born from user suggestions, others on what we feel will work or is needed.

Take a look at the beta of our directory section.
Main page - Directories, Dominican Republic.

The only planned changes you will see in the forums for the remainder of 2010 is a new look and a new forum that will be "business" related. 2011 is another story, lots of new stuff in the pipeline

i would rearrange the sections a bit - its sometimes confusing.

I dont see the difference between living section and general for a start.....
and should all question region related go into the specific region forum ?
travel has too many forums...they could all be incorporated.....no idea what dows are...and best of dr doesnt live up to its name as there are some strange things in there
