refered to as "spades' amoung the lower classes of bigotted people, so the combination of the words you used drew the comments by the poster.
Don't knowif you were aware of the similarities or not.
Affected persons don't take offense at the explanation. Nothing derogatory intended.

That TB would explain to Mirador is a good thing. Reminds me when I was at Georgetown, and was aksed by some of my white friends if I knew how to "play spades" (card game)....they were pals of mine, so I looked them in the eye(s) and responded..."hmmmmm havent played in a coon's age"

we all though it was very hilarious.....

nothwithstanding meaning by dicctionay of "niggardly"...used semi-juxtaposed to "spade a spade" makes me suspect of apparant feigned naivatee on Mirado's part.......

Point: I do not honestly believe that "black folk" take as acutely offensive "n" words, except when used in obvious offence, as "non black"'s registers this. Not putting value on offense, etc...just seems (and maybe appropriately so....) that non black might be more sensitive to this than blacks..(for example...someone says that a black can call another black the "n" word)...anyway........just a thought I will keep on line re thread...as per moderator...

Edited to add;

This will be the last comment on this. Stay on subject please.
