Ahnvee (Bourbon St & Skybox Disco) is PACKED every night. Last night there were well over 300 people at the new Bourbon Street and that was before the Skybox Disco even opened.

Ahnvee is now the absolute epicenter of the new red light district. It has easily absorbed 90% of the patrons who were frequenting the now shuttered businesses on the western end of Pedro Clisante. And as a matter of fact is now employing many of the workers from those businesses and they are still hiring. I've seen former employees of every single Pedro Clisante business that was closed down by the government now working at Ahnvee.

It’s a show watching those 350 lbs European men walking on Sosua beach with black speedo’s.

That's strange. Yet you have been following the situation for 16 years and cast disparaging comments every chance you get at the chicas and the gentleman that pursue them. You seem to believe it is some type of sacrilege to you and destroying your personal sanctity. I believe you said you don't live or own in Sosua so why all the anger. I notice many call the chicas "fat" and the men slobs. Yea, like all the woman and men in the U.S and Europe are the epitome of health and fitness. If you don't like the skin trade don't participate and by all means stay out of Sosua as you will get your feelings hurt.

I have owned in live in Cabarete since 2003 full time. I have no personal sanctity or anger issues with Sosua. My wife, who is Dominican , HATED what Sosua was like, just like many Dominicans who hate the reputation Sosua gave to the DR. One cannot deny the amount of spandex in Sosua was substantial.

We just had lunch in Sosua near ground zero and it certainly was slow. But hey, it was Sunday a lunch time. My feelings were never hurt in Sosua by prostitution or whore mongers and they were not hurt even today. Believe it or not.

I personally have zero anger about anything regarding Sosua including the prostitutes, etc. You certainly misunderstand me on that. I merely keep track of the situation as the government has reacted to prostitution over time, and also what people have told me about the plans for the beach, new investment money, etc. No anger at all. I have no issues with whatever consenting adults want to do between themselves in private.

I found it comical that people thought things were not going to change, no new developments were going to happen and the hooker situation would remain in place forever. What I observed over time was the government and local activity here. I could care less what whore monger forums have to say. The amusement I have in following this might have been misread by you as some type of indignation as I refer to whore mongers. You must admit, whore mongers are funny group to observe just in themselves, throw in the spandex and it becomes like Benny Hill.

If they can turn the You Tube Brothers around at the airport maybe the whole monger scene will be allowed to continue. More disgusting videos will mean Spandex Queen chicas won't be allowed at either end of PC

They have been using that fly swatter for 18 years now. The venue has changed but the scene has not. YouTube posters will have their day as CubaDave did....only a matter of time.

Seems that question is answered. The cops were waiting outside the Playa Chiquita casino and disco arresting chicas as they stepped outside.

Just a note about the arrests on Sunday night outside of the Playa Chiquita Casino and Ahnvee hotel.

This was coordinated by Colonel Guillen to send a message to all the girls congregating OUTSIDE of those places. Although this is the "red light district" they don't want it to immediately turn into what they just eradicated. Every night this week up until last night there have been ZERO organized arrests of the girls in that area and if last night was any indication there were plenty arriving by motoconcho and going directly into both the casino and hotel.

I believe you are correct, They will clean up the east end of Pedro Clisante , They will tolerate the Ahnvee for the time being. Eventually they will drop the hammer on that operation, I believe the clubs at the ahnvee will be shut down when some Dominicans open some bars on the western end of Pedro Clisante next to the High Caribean club. The powers that be are not going to let some foreigners, get all the money from that action.

Could be I guess. But I'm thinking they may just let it be. Look at the club across from Playa Dorada, everything is inside the walls and left alone (yeah I know, everybody leaves it alone).

Its a vibe I get from this forum its mostly miserable expats that spit sterotypes. I see words like savage, animals, and primitive, backwards when they describe Dominicans than they use thugs, deadbeats, broke, wannabe ballers to describe black people.
