All those banging (head) on their keyboards about change, if you mean a few bars closed (where some may reopen soon) and some moved to a few meters away, yes that happened, big change.... ! lol

But if that has changed (or will change) Sosua's image or chica situation or change the minds of so called big pocket developers to shovel in their money here, or DR elite perspective of the place, or bring in lots of new tourists or families due to this, I don't think so, unless they (you) are really naive... ?

As far as which bars were closed it is obvious to me, those that were frequented by our Afro American, black, from NY/Boston friends (whatever you want to call them) were targeted. Those mainly had white, German, blonde, blue eyes clienteles were left open... !? This had nothing to do with chica attendance or congregation or bar/restaurant status (don't kid yourself).

And before you ask, no I am not black, and although I don't like their music or smell of cigars and sometimes loud and in your face approach, I am not racist (like some !), and I think what the authorities have done has obvious signs of discrimination and clear racism. I like the idea of live and let live and I think all types should be taken care of and catered for, this was an abhorrent approach by the authorities.

Wait until the US media gets hold of this story properly and the PR sh*t storm that hits DR government will be far worse than when they badly treated Haitians and then had to backtrack on a lot of their absurd plans and projects. In fact I encourage some of those affected and clearly targeted to pass it on as those who did this deserves whatever is coming to them. Nobody cares about Haitians in US or IMF even, but US AA citizens being discriminated and targeted like this will start a huge story....!

As for Oxfam advising IMF and other governments on human trafficking and sex conduct of DR, pleeeeaaase, Oxfam was and is in the center of so many sex abuse allegations (food for sex, and even minors abuse) in Africa and Haiti and some other places they really should hide their face in shame, rather than pointing fingers...

Neither the US, Canada nor Europe gives on f*rt in the wind about closing any hooker bars on Pedro Clisante. Surely you jest when you say "Wait until the US media gets hold of this story..". You think the media will find these poor down-trodden prostitutes and whatever African America clients they brought as a just cause? Nope.

It isn't a story. It's just government cleaning up as they promised.

It isn't just hooker bars, it's AA hooker bars, other hooker bars open and running as before... !?

They said the same thing about some chic getting beat by her wife-beating waste of space husband and a few old dears passing away in their sleep, or some low life Haitians being deported, see what happened to those stories, last I heard tourism down 30% so far and DR government denied more loans unless they kiss Haitians ass and give them residency... ! lol

Try to keep up! It has been posted right here that Marriott is building "luxury brands" in the area "Puerto Plata region". While I still don't believe a Marriott brand ie: a sign that says ( similar) "JW Marriott", maybe I have been pushing the envelope as it pertains to Sosua for sarcastic affect maybe I haven't. I also remember it being posted that the new hotel that is now hooker central was going to be the new shining star of the Caribbean. What an absolute hype scam combination. There has been countless pump and dump projects on the North Coast, so I do have a certain level of sarcasm and suspicion when ever I read about development.

So we are in agreement then? The “Ritz Carlton” will NOT be paying for the wall. Right?

Sarcasm (and your snarky comment) aside, facts matter.

100% agreed. No matter where they go in life..
The man trying to hold them down :p:p:p
You can't be serious?
I don't think it has to do with the color of their
skin. It has everything to do with their conduct,
no matter where they are from. I know several
African Americans who travel down to Sosua once
every few months and avoid PC for this very same
reason.

German bar known for having lots of Haitianas
hanging around was also closed. Heaven forbid
the German press get hold of this story :cheeky:

From what have read here the bars that were closed were the ones with the more loud, in your face, notorious prostitution kinda that spills over into the street.

Tourism down 30%? ohhhh noes! we lost the money of the media koolaid drinkers... how will we ever survive!!!! Just like we will survive without the money of all the degenerates ruining Sosua going around as if they are the only thing keeping sosua up.

DR Government being denied loans because we are kicking the ****ters out? LOL they can shove that money up their *ss. Trying to force us to take in more of them will only end with Parsley massacre 2.0..... better starts learning how to say perejil HAHAHAHAHAH

You are such an incredible Sosua visionary. Could you please tell me when the families are coming to Sosua?

I saw two gringo couples strolling up Pedro Clisante this morning. I'll take a pic next time.

Your sarc is a bit overdone, but we understand.

Could be that one motivation of the rezoning is *because* of JW Marriott investment.

Most likely, along with a couple other large projects that are on hold waiting for the correct economy.

And I heard something this morning that may point to one of them getting ready.

A friend of mine reported.
Yesterday he was at Hotel Central which is still open.
He played cards from 5PM to 1 AM and he stated that no cars or motos drove by,
Who in his opinion just cruised for girls, so nice and quiet to enjoy a beer at one of the restaurants.

He also stated that the owner of Bourbon Street invited about two hundred girls to the new location, drinks for free.
Maybe some of you there can confirm?

Sosua does have its place in the tourism business in the Dr...Punta Cana has its place also, only the places are different and so are the tourists they attract... you cant make one into the other...they are what they are, as much as people talk about change and move a few businesses around ,in the end result it will still be the Sosua we know...………..
