The word "Puta"
I was told by a dominican to call and airplane- avion. before I was calling it aeroplano because I had looked that up somewhere.
It's all been said before but we all know that words take on different meanings depending on the emphasis put on them and the way you use them in a sentence.
A friend of me may ask me "Where da hoes at?"
He's not specifically asking me for a location to find prostitutes, but he's asking me where the females are.
In English/slang/ebonics words take on many different meanings depending on how you use them. Especially works like bitch,whore or slut. I think everyone gets the basic idea what the other is talking about and that's really all that matters.
I like this though because I learn a lot about the dominican way of speaking by reading posts like this, I just hope I can remember some of it.

since you're a good sport, here are some Dominican expressions:
"Ay que ooooolla!" Use it when you don't believe some BS story (Cris CCC brought this up earlier).
"Toy en olla"...when you're broke.
"Ay Virgen de la Altagracia!"--pronounced as 'bilgen de la'ltagracia'...when impressed with any situation, especially at the site of an accident.
"y vas a seguir?"--pronounced as 'y ba segu??'...when you're tired of people bothering you.

These aren't gonna have me blurting out something totally different from the meaning you've given me are they?
I've seen how people who speak a language like to joke around with someone trying to learn, or fit in by telling them to say something and they end up saying I have three testicles or something like that LOL

But I must warn you: the elite, or golo's bluebloods, do not speak in that manner; only real Dominicans do.
And on the word 'co?o', well it could mean different things, depending on the situation. This has been covered before. There are variations, too.
Here, in incremental order, and with the proper syllable capitalized to give emphasis to the moment:
1. co?o: too many uses, from "que co?o tu miras?" to "esa mujer es m?s fea que'l co?o" and the typical "el co?o 'e tu madre." I suggest you don't use the latter.
2. co?Aso: a bigger 'co?o', especially if you're repeating yourself, as in: "co?aso, eta 'e la ?ltima be que le bo? dec? que se bajen de la cama."
3. CO?ASASASO: loud and clear, and the biggest 'co?o' of them all, the grand slam of 'co?os'--or the grand salami in ESPN, or the mother of all 'co?os' in Saddamish--use it when you've had enough.

The point is that "co?o" does not lend itself to an easy translation. If you hurt yourself accidentally, say, your elbow with the edge of the table, you might say, "Damn it", well, "co?o" would also be applicable here, but it would be a "co????o."

See, when you said your joke was *really* dirty, I automatically thought of "?eca", which technically speaking is dirtier than ?ema, is it not? My cuero was way worse than yours because ?eca breath is worse than ?ema breath.
