Id be more nervous of the guy driving an SUV trying to take a picture of the guy on the moto with a pistol.

I've been thinking to buy a device that I can fix on the windshield to make a quick picture of the crazy stuff I see now and then. Most if the time I'm way too late getting my phone out of my pocket and turning on the camera, meanwhile steering with one hand and honking with my elbow.

Once I saw a motorcyclist driving with THREE big tires around his waist, his arms up high to be able to reach the steer. I still regret I couldn't take a picture on time.

Hadn't seen this before in DR though:

Ps. I'm not PICHARDO's photo guy

If someone has a part of the pistol exposed I wouldnt worry. Its the ones you dont see you have to worry about.
Half the guys in the DR dont even have cartridges.

I like how her top is color coordinated with her bike's paint job. :)

I have seen up to 6 people on a moto - 3 adults with 1 adult carrying 2 kids - and another adult carrying 1 child. Also, a friend told me of a lady who sent her dead son to the cemetary on a moto because she could not afford any other means of transportation.

Until I came to the DR, I have never seen so many guns in waistbands in my life. They are not concealed or placed in a holster.

I remember the first time I went to La Sirena, and saw the security guards walking around with shotguns, like they were guarding a national treasure or something, I get a kick out of bringing my friends with me to the DR, first thing I always do is take them shopping somewhere I know there will be a heavily armed guard, I love the look on their faces, when they ask me is that normal.

I also saw guns in the open, the neighbors who are young boys & have reputation of being good guys ( not in the street doing bad things) but my host family told me the guns are fake. I didn't know if believe them, why would someone want to have a fake gun ... Well Maybe to get away with robbing w a fake gun. Have you guys heard of this?

Maybe that guy will hit a big bump and you will get lucky and find a nice gun lying on the street. anyways, I wonder about all these guys carrying semi-autos in their pockets. Do they properly maintain and clean their guns? If not most likely they will malfunction and jam when needed.
