I dont understand all the negativity with Boca Chica .....every visit to the DR ....I spend a few days going to Bocana Restaurant and enjoying the sun .
For the people selling everything under the sun ....when you say no and show no interest in their wares ...they move on

Pics must have been photo shopped. Inside it was dump. I bet places in Mogadishu can compete

You got me, I forgot the 'pics or it didn't happen' rule. Next time I go there, I will stop the car and take pictures. which is not too much of a problem because driving through that town is quite slow anyway, It was the only town I got very nervous all along Route 5 from POP till turning off to Las Terrenas

It is horrible with all those kamikaze motorcycles? traffic lights are just not seen.
Parking on both sides.
A head-ache. You can’t even drive with your beer in your hand.

There is a stretch with garages on one side with cars parked, motos and trucks unloading in two-way traffic and I made the mistake of passing through around school finishing time so that traffic too. I was glad to leave that town. Passing through Nagua wasn't bad because Google Maps took me through a road closer to the beach than through the town. It was slow but not much traffic. Which reminds me, i need to make a post about Digisett

Gasper Hernandez is probably the worst of all the towns on the North Coast highway that need a bypass.

It's coming....I don't look forward to it but the reviews were so misleading, I need to do it. Owner said he would give me 1 night free if I returned. HAHA
