Further if he uses the term "whoremonger" to one of those big German guys in Cabarete that has a young chica with him he will be drinking from a straw for a few.
Nobody questions whether whore is a word, it is whether it is acceptable to use that word anywhere, even behind a keyboard. Lots of words just like it in the dictionary.

Puta is certainly the word I hear most and also Prostituta, but if said it is with a certain inflection.
However, this is an English language forum.
Common sense is the answer to the first question. If you can't say it in public, one should be able to connect the dots and not say it behind a keyboard. There are lots of lonely and unlonely men seeking love that don't engage with prostitutes so man would do just fine.

You are the one that claims to have a vast knowledge of Sosua and all things business. You just posted about a construction project on the beach as if you were more knowledgeable about the business there than the actually investors. You posted numerous times about changes coming to Sosua that never came to fruition, and about fake immigration snowbird round ups. If you were a baseball player you would be batting .100. You have all this amazing knowledge its just inaccurate, hey but its entertaining.
Most Dominicans don't consider women who receive payment for sex to be whores. It's a deeply ingrained part of the culture. It's looked at differently situations like Sosua where it's out in the open, in the public eye. They certainly don't refer to themselves, to Dominican men in such a manner. This is all just a case of an English speaking and seemingly mostly American in this case group trying to impose their words and values on or for Dominicans.
