Except for the invasion of rotting stinking sargassum. It is awful right now! Feel for all the unsuspecting who are arriving now.

Just how bad is the situation? I know the Cancun and south areas in Mexico are inundated and thei beaches are pretty much a write off, is the PC area as bad or expected to be throughout the summer/fall?

How has the war in the Ukraine affected tourism to the PC area? On our last 2 visits, there were quite a lot of tourists from that area (Russian and Ukrainian), are the hotels lower in bookings or are others keeping things busy with the slow but sure lessening of Covid related restriction?
