Travel to Italy for Dominican citizen. In a group....travel agent says..

I would like to go to Italy with my Dominican wife. We know how difficult it is to get a visa to certain countries in the EU. This morning she called our travel agent regarding the trip. The agent said it is very difficult but she has trip in July with a group and they get the visa. I don't need to do anything.
My question is: Has any member here traveled in a group and the individual had the travel agent get the visas for the group?

BTW I am going to the e agency tomorrow to check this whole thing out.

Keep in mind the 2025 Jubilee is going on. Extremely crowded from what I am being told. But it may also depend on where you plan on visiting in Italy.

Yes but never to a Schengen Zone country in the EU, only in South East Asia which at the time was a lot more relaxed and it would been almost 20 years ago.

My question is really...can a travel agent get the visa bc it is a group? In the opinion of a member that experienced this The group goes on July 21 which is pretty tight schedule.

It's just based on what i heard. There are a lot of Groups that visit Italy to see religious locations (Vatican etc.). They seem to have lower rejection quotes.
My wife personally knows some people that would usually never get a visa but participated in this tours organized by the church.

This is what I thought as well. My thinking was this sounds like an American getting a group trip to cuba so as to avoid certain restrictions and having your passport stamped.
As soon as I get my day off the ground I will go to the travel agency and kick the tires.

After she got a Shengen VISA once. Future Visas are a ZERO PROBLEM.
