Do they do mandatory Covid-19 test upon arrival? And any mandatory self-quarantine for visitors?

No more mandatory testing at airports but arrivals could be subjected to a random test especially if they have a fever or other symptoms. No quarantine restrictions unless you test positive then it is a dedicated quarantine with the govt.

I did not need to have the test when I arrived at las americas last week. You fill out a health questionnaire on the plane. Other than that, it was arriving as normal. They did have a scanner as you were walking to immigration that showed your temperature

So long as we are under a national
curfew, testing passengers arriving from
around the world won't be necessary.

When I arrived, they tested about half of the passengers on my flight using the supposedly rapid test. It wasn't rapid, took about 10 minutes, and the result kept coming back inconclusive, so I had to do the test three times. It wasn't a biggie to be honest because I still had to wait for my bags, so I would not have left the airport any quicker even if they hadn't tested.

i came from JFK to SDQ this last sunday and to my surprise, there were tables set up and medical staff were stopping people for a covid test. some people already had the test results in their cellphones and others were being stopped for questioning or for random tests. I just kept walking and didn't look back and pretended I didn't even hear them. nothing happened and I just went up to immigration and walked out.

i came into SDQ a few weeks ago. I did see them pulling a few people aside for testing, maybe 5 % of those arriving. Lucky for me I was not one of them.

I arrived yesterday to SDQ from New York. ( Dec 7, 2020) They give you form on the plane that basically states that you have not been exposed or have symptoms. You give this form to immigration officer. They also have machines that check your temperature upon entry to the airport.
Also, please keep in mind if you arrive within curfew hours you might not think ahead of how you will be getting to your destination from the airport. Taxis are operating as normal but UBER won't take you.

It seems that in this annum of what many are deciding to refer to as the "new normal", the "old normal" is still prevailing.
Case in point......the Taxi Mafia's control over the airports.
Who knew?
