2002 was 23 years ago windy. 😳

Then, It was not that long ago. I am certain it was not 2002. I did not live here then. I had just purchased my house in Cabarete and was still in California until 2003 waiting for my legal residency to be approved..

Thirteen years ago does seem about right. As I mentioned, I am terrible with dates. Always have been for some reason.

It could have been mid 2003. I started the free zone business in Dec of 2003.

The villa construction I did in Cabrera was 2002-2003. I was driving to and from Cabrera and Puerto Plata 4 times weekly and
it was during that time (2002-2003) the houses were razed.

I arrived full time in September of 2003, so it was definitely after that. I went to what was then called El Rocon for years after I arrived. The removal of all the houses and El Rocon bar, etc, I am pretty certain was several years after 2003.

El Rocon bar and restaurant was still there on 2009, so the clearing of the land from the bar down to Seawinds was after that:
