You underestimate your abilities EHM. I would never refer to you as a commoner. Despite our differences on many posts, I’ve developed a grudging respect for you and your insights on DR life as did WW. I enjoyed the banter between you and WW and the Magoo name he gave you. His diplomatic way of telling you not to be myopic with your views. By the way, I noticed his home is still listed for sale in Cabrera with Century 21. I assume it’s Bill’s. It was listed shortly after he died.

No question he is guilty NSP but he will still be a scapegoat for the government to maintain the status quo and not reduce the risk of these accidents happening.

That's kinda a scary issue of living here sometimes. I think justice is overserved in many cases because the cases are highly publicized. Well, when the person in trouble doesn't have the proper resources.

Example: The guy who took the bomb into the metro (terrorist act) and a guy who burned a woman with acid (who didn't die) got fairly similar sentences.

Anyone remember the trucker who clipped a gua gua and killed 18 people back in (i think it was) 2017 only to be caught breaking several laws on video driving over the median on W.Churchill a week later?

Here's one for ya.. The driver in this accident was jailed not long ago for killing a young girl in another accident:

"Truck driver Ángel Encarnación Bautista , involved in the tragic accident in Azua , had served two years in prison for having caused the death of a girl in an accident in 2005. In addition, he has 29 traffic violations since 2009 to date."
