41000 movies: Many new releases before they hit DR theaters (We watched Lost City of D last night, and will watch Dr. Strange today)
Sports? Every sport you can think of. Thousands of stations as well.
Lost City came out 3 or 4 weeks ago in theatres here, and Dr. Strange is also already in theatres.

Correct. Lost city was in movie theaters 3 weeks ago. Dr. Strange was 2 weeks ago.

My point is I don't have to go to a theater in Santo Domingo to see a current movie.

Ok - I know I am TV/STREAMING BOX challenged so maybe you can help me out here : I already have a Firestick attached to the non-WIFI capable Smart TV (via HDMI connection.) The Firestick connects to my router wirelessly - so I guess I have everything I need already ?

And by the way - the router is nowhere near the TV so "running a network or HDMI cable from the router" is not feasible - but if the Firestick is already connected to the router why would I even need this?
Sounds like it. You have to subscribe to a streaming service, and set up the configuration.

please do,thanks.
I am the person JD Jones was talking about, if you (or anyone else) want to try my streaming service you can DM me here. As long as your internet is decent there, It should work fine. 15mbs or faster is preferable but I have free trials so you can check first to make sure your internet is capable.

My SmartTV (Samsung) had to have a re-build done on it a couple of years ago. Had to give up WIFI connectivity. Can I access this streaming service without WIFI on TV ?
My service works fine with a firestick, you will need an android phone and access to google play to buy an app though. I hope no one thinks I'm here spamming my service, JD mentioned to me that there were people here looking for a service so I came to offer help in getting people connected with a stable service.

Well that's not what others are saying. My firestick is connected to TV via HDMI. And firestck is on WIFI to my router.

So I don't need WIFI connectivity through the TV
The Wi-Fi on your firestick can access the streaming services. That's the whole idea of a firestick. To make a dumb tv, smart.
