Here only required if the country you are traveling does, for example now If you can not show a vaccinatin certify to travel to Colombia you are not allowed to travel there, and still some other countries require for visitors PCR or Antigen test, like USA, is not DR asking for it.
About the Laboratory we can discuss why they prefer you show the test made it by specific labs, its because they do not want receive fake test result and only trust in well known labs.
Airports do not required any test, they do not have power to do that, If they ask, means the country you are traveling is asking for.
As I explained, airports perse can not rule by themself any of those requirements, Must be mandatory of the goverments, they do not have the power to do that. If they are still asking for covid test the airline team hear do not have accurate information about it, not the airport.
Recentrly I flew back to Santo Domingo from Brazil and the airline asked me for covid vaccine certify and here goverment do not ask for that, only eticket, so I can not say the airport asked me for vaccination certify, the airline did.
