Today I finally renewed my Dominican driving license after 15 years living abroad.
Everything went smooth, I am surprised of the customer service, the training and equipments / technology they have.
Went to Bella Terra Mall, INTRANT office located on the second floor.
I will rate ***** this governmental office.
I am very impressed.

Yes but they told me I was entitled to apply for a discounted penalty because I have a current US driver license. They summited the request to SD awaited about an hour before authorization went through and I saved over $7,000. Pesos.
I was supposed to pay $ 17,800.
Including a class VIAL ended up paying a little bit less than $10K.
