If you don't approve don't use them and treat yourself.
Don't burden your medical system or doctors when sick.
Your government payed for your covid vaccinations, so that you can travel to the DR.

Here are two that didn't make it.
Two people in New Mexico are suspected to have died as a result of taking ivermectin, a medicine not proven to treat COVID-19, according to state health officials.
In an update on COVID-19 in the state on Wednesday, acting state Health Secretary Dr. David Scrase said two unnamed people in the state died from ivermectin poisoning, one of which was already dealing with a severe case of COVID-19.
"It's a serious issue. We need to watch it," Scrase said.
The confirmation comes weeks after the state suspected one person was fatally poisoned by ivermectin.
Veterinary formulations are not approved for human use under any conditions, because the drug is often highly concentrated for animals and the medications include ingredients that are not approved for human use.

Sorry ivermectin is not on the approved covid 19 vaccines list for air travel, neither is bleach.
Lobo Tropical. My post was tongue in cheek but I firmly believe pharmaceutical companies are driven by their financial bottom line. They are responsible to their shareholders first. Viagra, a drug not focused on the preservation of human life, was a big financial windfall to Pfizer. An accidental discovery that benefitted them greatly. Pharmaceutical companies are some of the most powerful lobbyists in Washington because of their wealth. They continually lobby against laws that would allow the faster release of cheaper generic drugs. If you want to believe they are altruistic that’s fine. I don’t believe it.
I do agree with your assessment of the danger of people using Invermectin with dosage levels meant for animals. A few weeks ago, the farm supply businesses in Alberta, a province with the worst Delta Covid infection rate in Canada and a hospital system on the verge of collapse, saw an influx of people wanting to purchase Ivermectin for their own use. They didn’t understand or care about the fact that it was meant for animal usage, not human consumption. The demand was primarily unvaccinated people willing to risk their lives because of misinformation on social media.
Of course I stood in line to get both my shots when they became available. I will do what’s necessary to reduce the effects of the pandemic, protect my health, the health of my friends and family, and get back to a relatively normal lifestyle. The shots weren’t free. They were paid for with our tax money.

694,277 is not a "death rate". That is the total number of deaths. The death rate is shown as "deaths/1M". The US is number 20 in "death rate'.
Ivermectin was initially used for animals, but has been approved by the FDA since 1996 for humans. It can be obtained at any pharmacy with a prescription. Here in the DR, it can be purchased at any farmacia OTC.
The correct dosage is important with any medication. Too much of any drug can kill you - even aspirin.

The Canada-US border restrictions are convoluted right now Bill. US citizens with both vaccinations can drive across and fly into Canada. Canadians with the same vaccinations can fly into the US but are not allowed to drive across. The US government promised to review the restrictions and reconsider opening everything on October 22nd.
