With no real government in Haiti I think Abinadar is doing the right thing. No leaders means no way to negotiate the ground rules for the canals construction and operations. Unfortunately it’s going to have deleterious effects for both countries. While the immediate effects will probably hurt the Haitians the most, Abinadar will have to answer to his citizens while the Gangs in Haiti answer to no one.
Abel Martinez has done a fantastic job with Santiago and if I were legal, I'd vote for him.
Read an article early today that said Haitians are being "allowed" to self-deport and return
to Haiti however they are not being allowed to bring any commercial goods/ produce with
them thru the check points.
