More updates are coming in as the Police investigates the murder of three senior adults at a farm ranch in Villa Isabela in western Puerto Plata. The lead suspect is a Haitian farm worker.
Listin Diario reports that the Police is looking for a Haitian identified as 37-year old Alfonso Fiseme, alias “Blanco” or “Blanqué”, employed to milk cows at the farm. He had just two weeks on the job.
He is accused of the murder of the Rancho Josefina farm owner, 71-year old Juan Jose Soto Corniel, uncle of former Armed Forces Minister Jose Miguel Soto Jimenez. Also murdered were the farm ranch overseer, 68-year old Gilberto Basilio Toribio and 63-year old architect Maritza Ovalles Ureña, a personal friend who was at the farm to help with the farm renovations.
