I have 3 Puerto Rican friends in Florida, two in Texas & one in South Carolina and one in Las Vegas and a recent legal citizen from Colombia. Everyone voted for Trump and were excited about last night.

After you have made something like US$ 100M it's difficult to spend. Obviously when you first make it you can buy a huge house, several houses, a plane, a yacht, but once you've got all of that, it's hard to spend the rest. And your money will be earning you, say, $7M interest a year. It's hard to spend half a million dollars every month. That's why it has zero impact on Musk.

A lowly 3.0 percent on a billion dollars is 30 million a year. Musk is worth over 200 billion. Most people do not know that a billion dollars is 'one thousand million". It is a difficult number to get your mind around.

I had a friend once who donated $50 to Hillary Clinton in 2016, he claims by mistake.
He still get requests from the Democratic Party and The Clinton Foundation for money.
