Interested to know which local bank allows the highest ATM withdrawal utilizing an USA bank issued ATM card?

In other words - I need to know which bank here in the DR allows me to take out the highest amount in Pesos from an ATM machine utilizing my USA Bank issued ATM card from my account in an USA Bank?

Thanks

Been quite a while for me, but Banco Nacional would give me 45000, spread over 5 withdrawals.

It's been a while for me as well, but I used to be able to do 30k in one withdrawal with La Nacional, the fees being around 7-8 USD for that whole amount. The limit could have been higher as well, but the highest I tried was 30k.

10,000 pesos per withdrawal is the norm when using a US ATM card in the Dominican Republic.
I've never seen a machine allow a larger amount.

I have not used an ATM for at least a year, but I routinely withdrew 14,000 pesos from Banco Popular ATM. Scotia bank will allow you 4 consecutive withdrawals of 10,000.

Popular is a very expensive bank - they charge $300.00 DOP per withdrawal as ATM fees -that's robbery

Will try that with a higher amount and report the findings

La Nacional ATMs give 20,000 (150 peso fee.). Have tried many other bank ATMs but none give me 20k. I have not tried to go higher w/Nacional, but 25k or 30k? One day I’ll try.

I used to spread mine out because the dispenser gets pretty tight when you get to a large amount of bills.

I've done it with BANESCO and it dispenses 30K's for @1.50 DOP fees - trying to see if any other bank beats that?

Much better than using XOOM or any other money exchange company
What kind of exchange rate did your US bank give you. Mine dinged me pretty bad. I would only do it in emergencies for small amounts.

Send money from your bank account for pickup in USD at a Western Union here. Just sent myself $900 USD for $10.99. Not bad.
Did you get $900 in US Dollars (Not converted into pesos} and pay only $10.99?

Yes. Another friend of mine is doing this also. You need to download the app and link to your bank account. It only costs $8.99 for a friend to send it to you from a W.U. location. Always pick up in USD or you get killed on the exchange rate.
That what I always do, send money to my wife via WU and works pretty simple.
