Obviously you know nothing about "soccer" as you call it if you thin k there aren't a lot of rules and strategy.

A Canadian friend of mine told me yesterday that for every half hour of match time in American "football" there are just eight and a half minutes of actual play.
Most of your football is nothing but long boring periods of watching one teams kicking the ball down the field only to see it get kicked back the other way. Every once in a while one team manages to get somewhere close to the goal net where there's a few exciting seconds where a goal might actually be scored. That rarely happens though and, after 3 hours of play, you frequently end up with only one goal actually being scored.

You can add Canadian football to the complexity. We don’t have the fourth down. Some say this makes the game faster and better. Not a football fan so I can’t say.
I can't say one way or the other(?). I just wish Canada would adopt American football rules. It would be great to have Canadians competing in the playoffs.

Let's come back to the topic.... watching the Super Bowl in the DR. I agree I would rather watch the game from home. Some years ago, the Hotel Jaragua sports bar used to have a game watching "party" type thing.

I can't figure out who has the hottest cheerleaders, The Chiefs or the Eagles. I also can't figure out how they can keep a smile on thier face the entire game. Mad skills!

Posters request changes all the time, right in the thread or via PM. Just have to ask.
But are you not the one who said ¨NO¨ to requests to change it after DR1 changed over to the new forum format ?

Stating 5 minutes was long enough.

You should see typos, etc within 5 minutes. If not, you can ask for a correction.

I didn’t set the time limit, the software did.

AE answered this issue in another thread SantiagoDR, so this may be a conversation you should have via PM.

This should be an exciting Superbowl, a rematch of 2 years ago with the top two QBs currently playing.

I do agree watching soccer is barely one notch above watching paint dry.

As for cheerleaders I'll take the Eagles and I predict there will be no obnoxious "Olé, Olé, Olé" chants after a ball goes back and forth for 90 minutes to be kicked out of bounds.

Prediction: Eagles 31, Chiefs 17.
Referees - 3 blown calls.

And in football we don't say: Touch Dowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn! Well, since they usually only score one goal a game, I guess they have to make the most of it!

I'm taking the Eagles, also. They've put together a real machine this year.
