I'm sorry fellows, it may be news to you, but it *ain't* safe in the US countryside either...drugs and violence are rampant in rural areas and in the part of the South I'm in, it now seems to be at an even higher percentage of population than in the bigger cities.
Basically, its the same problem...poverty breeds resentment and envy and resentment and envy eventually destroy any kindness and respect you may have been raised with.
It will get worse again in the US because the middle class will be devastated financially again and be decimated (just like they were under Reagan and Bush, Sr.), while the *big boys* hoard all they can grab.
