The U.S should send a ranking official. Not a Rapper or a tattoo coverd ball player
Maybe I missed it but who are the rapper and tattoo covered ballplayer that were invited? I saw Marc Anthony, Vin diesel, Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez as some of the invitees and I don't think they meet the criteria you stated.

Political figures aside, I don't think the US has a say in who gets to go since it's invitation based.

Yes you missed it, not surprising. For such a dignified event for a popular President I would have liked to see a secretary of state or a designated person with an appropriate title.

Can you please state the rapper and tattoo covered baseball player that the US sent?
