I will agree with you main point, but your reasoning behind the point are silly. They think it's ok to have a child without being married'. Well it is, it is only religious freaks and conformers who consider you must stand before a third party and sign a contract before you are morally stable enough to breed. If this was the case then mankind would never have existed.
Most if them don't even know what Europe is, all that exists is the Republic and America, and everywhere else in the world is somewhere in America. Including Italy, Germany and England.

Googling stats aside, I am from Toronto and can accurately claim there are WAY more teens with an infant on their hip in the DR, compared to Canada.

Seems around 50% of females 15-19 have a kid already.

Shocking ...

that number seems about right...

however, this is not a cross the board number. in the upper reaches of the society, i would hazard a guess that the incidence of teen pregnancy is far lower.

It's too cold to take your clothes off in Canada so no wonder it is such a difference!!

I never knew one teenage person who was pregnant where I was from but that is probably the area and school I went to.

But there is a logical connection to the extremely high numbers of teen pregnancies.
About 20% of the female Dominican adolescents get pregnant and I guess, the vast majority of the children are born outside wedlock.

Thus, IMO promiscuity is even much higher. :tired:

Your logical connection fails. In Europe and the US almost 10 million children are killed every year in the womb. Not only that contraceptives are given to grade school children.
