The bill was submitted by senator Santiago Jose Zorilla (PRM-El Seibo) and passed on Tuesday, 21 September 2021 in the Senate. I understand the drinking and driving part but the rest is a Dominican way of life. Many pretty much live outside. The climate combined with the housing makes that lifestyle natural and it’s even what many of use have enjoyed when we first came here. Strange how it contradicts the whole Covid thing as it supposedly spreads more inside.

ah yes. Drinking on the side of the the road while eating out of a styrofoam container to the humm of motos speeding by. Then P.P in the adjacent shrubs. I would love to see enforcement but we know that will never happen.

You can regulate colmados to close that are within 150 meters of the other one.
This bill looks like it was written by a Karen.

theres too many stipulations for this to pass. Cant be too close to any sensitive area? cant be within 150 meters of anyone else who sells it? cant transport even unopened bottles on a moto? crazy
