Wire Transfer from DR to USA Fees
I've used Xoom to send money to the DR, though my question is the opposite; I need to know the specifics of sending money from the DR to the USA by wire transfer?
Yes you can use wire transfer from your DR account to the US.
It will be more paperwork than just sending it via zoom or western union. But if the amount you’ll send is large and maybe many times over, it’s best to do so via the bank.
Anything close to 15,000 US will need to fill extra documents and forms.
In some cases a proforma will be required for large purchases.

When you ship by CaribeTours you have to declare a value and they always inspected what I sent(?). No way I would do that with large amounts of money. Not sure about BMCargo, but I'm surprised to hear they don't inspect what you're sending. with all the drugs and drug money floating around the DR.
