I posted this before. I wire money all the time from my Ameritrade brokerage account to BSC.
Have you done that since the end of November. I have had no problem with transfers for 3 years. Now things are stopped.
If you did it successfully in December I would be surprised but glad
Not sure what your total amount needed is, but, I assumed you can take out $1000 a day with Charles Schwab debt card, no fee, fair exchange rate. Of course if you need a LOT of money it's a big pain, but I hope to try it this month, for the first time, to take out a few $1000 withdrawals.
Let us know which ATM will dispense that amount. Maybe you have to make many withdrawals to get what you want. All banks have limits on amounts dispensed at one pull.

Not sure if it is another thing when you are not American. I do a transfer as described in my other post roughly every 8 - 10 days and have no problems doing them. Last I received yesterday.

No it makes no difference if you are American - only if it is a US Bank wiring funds. Who are your banks in both the US and here in DR where you do international wire transfers. That might help us out

Have you done it since mid-December. All the time is not specific. Like I said the rules changed at end of November and it may have taken some time for the banks to implement. Does Ameritrade charge you for wire transfers ?

Was that accomplished straight from BoA to Reservas w/o any intermediary bank?

Did you do it from the BoA website directly or did you call this in to a BoA rep?
Great. It could be BanReservas has a better agreement with the US Banks.
Do you wire to an intermediate Swift Account # or direct to BanReservas IBAN?
And what is the cost from B of A (usually $30 I think it's $45 if it is to a DR dollar account) and what is the cost BanReservas subtracts from a deposit ?
BSC deducts $10 on deposits by wire, which I think is crazy, should be free.

Yes. I received a wire transfer yesterday. Received another about 10 days ago. MY US bank, SunTrust does international transfers, also, but first I need to get a pin number from a branch office to do it on line. Next time I go back, I'll get the pin number.

Cost me 10 dollars to transfer from RBC in Canada to BHD, BHD charges 7 dollars plus the government gets 0.015 percent tax on it.

Which bank made your two transfers to BSC if it was not SunTrust?

I receive my money via PayPal. From there I send it to Transferwise, using their US bank to send my USD to my USD account at BHD. Transferwise used to cooperate with First Century Bank, N.A. and now with Evolve EVOLVE BANK &TRUST, both in the US. Signing up with TW you get your own bank account number for any currency you use it with (I have the USD and EUR - you get an IBAN from a Belgian bank for that).

Dirt cheap.

I've paid $25.00 +$20.00 = $45.00 at the USA end for all my wires, plus a $10.00 at the DR receiving end bank.

Does sun trust charge? Do you need special bank account status at sun trust? How long is the pin good for? Thank you

That was my Ameritrade brokerage account - $35
There are cheaper ways to transfer than $35, but as long as yours is easy and secure then stay with them. But that's one very nice dinner out that you loose.
