A lab leak in Wuhan is thought to be the most likely origin of Covid because an animal host has not been found after two years of searching, top scientists believe.

Dr Alina Chan, a specialist in gene therapy and cell engineering at MIT and Harvard, said there was also a risk that Covid-19 was engineered in China.

The 33-year-old has co-written a book with British science writer Matt Ridley about the origins of Sars-CoV-2, the virus behind the pandemic.

The pair gave an update to MPs at the Science and Technology Select Committee today.

Dr Chan said: ‘I think the lab origin is more likely than a natural origin at this point.

But seriously, the only reason people refused to accept the truth about CV19 leaking from Wuhan Virology Lab is they hated the POTUS for those in my home country.

Either that or they could not think clearly.

Until the source or a host animal is found, the lab leak will remain the mostly likely explanation - no matter how improbable it might seem.

The virus from Chinese Bubble Wrap is satire or a conspiracy theory depending upon if you are on the right or left.

Finally a few people with sufficient education, intelligence and observational skills have come to the obvious conclusion that since there is no animal to be found as a source for CV19, but there is a lab in the same city of Wuhan that studies coronaviruses, enhances their function through gain of function research and is the most likely source , through or leak or on purpose, of the original infection which has blessed the past two years of pandemic to endemic. It actually took a couple of "geniuses" to finally figure this out and tell it like it is, in typical academic manner of course.

For me, from day one in later 2019, the animal theory was a dead end and what needed to be found out was if the lab leak from Wuhan Lab was accidental or on purpose along with just how mich did they enhance the function of the virus that stopped the world.

Sure glad we have such people here to guide us. Wow, from day 1. Quite impressive. Would have thought it would take you a few weeks o_O Animals have been found with a closer genetic match to the virus than that found at the lab and quite a few impressive scientists in this field must have missed what you inferred on day1 :) Would love to visit your lab some day.

True, but all scientists seem to agree that uncovering the source of the virus and how it evolved is important in preventing this from happening again.

Don't need a stinkin' lab, just common sense. Like the study from Harvard just out that is the topic of this thread.

The Chinese are not going to allow that to happen. We need to move on from that anyway.

Does it really matter where this virus came from?
What matters at this point is the direction governments and Big Pharma are taking in response to this virus.
