President Leonel Fernandez appointed Eddy Martinez to the post of director of the Center for Investments and Exports. Eddy Martinez was the executive director of the Association of Free Zones, when he moved on to direct the Foreign Investment Promotion Office during the previous Fernandez administration. He now is entrusted with the restructured CEI-RD that resulted from the merge of the investment office with the export office (Cedopex).
