El Caribe carries a report on 14 June 2022 summarizing the many agreements reached with Haiti’s governments over the past decades. The list of unfulfilled commitments is long. The difficulties in dealing with the neighbor country have only worsened over the years. Now, reports are that criminal gangs are in control, not the Ariel Henry government, and Haiti is increasingly becoming a security threat for the Dominican Republic.
