Enriquillo Amiama, presents a retrospective of his work as a painter from his beginnings in 1982 through his work in 2022. The exhibition is from 23 June to 25 August on two floors of the Museum of Modern Art in Plaza de la Cultura, National District.
The exhibition features a rigorous selection of 68 works spanning 40 years of Enriquillo Amiama’s work. The works were lent by major collectors.
María Brito, ranked as one of the 20 most powerful women in the art world, carried out the curatorial and museographic work for the exhibition. She is an advisor to major galleries such as Gagosian, David Zwirner, auction houses such as Sotheby’s and many international collectors.
Enriquillo Amiama will be offering talks, and critics and curators are also in the educational talks part of the exhibition. Some of the talks: “Art and the art market,” “Use of new technologies in art,” “How to find inspiration to create,” “How to develop a fruitful career in the art world,” “Live painting demonstrations,” “Internet management and social networks for artists.”
