In Major League Baseball, Jose Ramirez playing for the Cleveland Guardians (formerly the Indians) hit two home runs to move to second place on the team’s all time home run list. Starring in Cleveland’s 8-4 defeat of the Detroit Tigers, Ramirez had an excellent with two homers and a double in the game on 29 July 2024. He is now only behind Hall of Famer Jim Thome who hit 337 homers for the team. Ramirez, the All Star third baseman for Cleveland, is currently at 243 and counting. He needs 95 to set a new record and could do so before he retires.
