The capital city fairgrounds known as the Ciudad Ganadera are once again the scene of the National Farm Fair 2025. This is a big event that will run until Sunday, 30 March 2025. The Feria Ganadera is a popular annual attraction.
Jose Mallen, the head of the Cattlemen’s Association that is hosting this year’s fair, noted that the event is one where technologies and business advancements are presented.
Like fairs in many parts of the world, this is the time and place where Dominican farmers and suppliers show off their wares and achievements. There are activities for young and old, such as the tour of milk production that helps people understand the milking process all the way to the final products sold in stores.
And there are auctions, equipment demonstrations, and the sale of produce, eggs, and other farm products, as well as the equipment and products that contribute to efforts to make the Dominican Republic self-sufficient in food supply.
