Osmar C. Benítez, executive president of the Dominican Agribusiness Council (JAD), expressed his organization’s great satisfaction with the success of Agroalimentaria 2025’s ninth edition. He recognized the outstanding representation of the agricultural sector, featuring a broad participation of food producers and exporters, representing over 160 national and 200 international companies.

“The event showcased more than 300 product varieties, including fresh and processed foods, spices, aromatic herbs, condiments, rum, cigars, and, for the first time, poultry products, especially eggs,” Benítez said, highlighting “the richness, diversity, and innovative capacity of the Dominican Republic’s exportable offerings.”

Benítez also emphasized that the fair has become a forum for constructive dialogue among producers, exporters, investors, and international partners who see the Dominican Republic as a reliable and competitive ally in global agri-food trade.

Concluding, ProDominicana’s executive director Riviero highlighted the strategic alliance with JAD, which has enabled the creation of an effective platform connecting national supply with international demand. She reaffirmed ProDominicana’s commitment to continuing to strengthen national exports within the framework of the National Export Promotion Plan (PNFE), implemented by President Luis Abinader’s government since 2020.
