The new government agency consolidates 14 transport-related entities of the government. The Presidency ordered the Intrant start operations on 1 July 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Others appointed are: Alexandra Cede\u00f1o, director of the Direcci\u00f3n de Movilidad Sostenible; Milc\u00edades P\u00e9rez Polanco, to the Direcci\u00f3n de Transporte de Carga and Manuel Ernesto Fabi\u00e1n to the Direcci\u00f3n de Transporte de Pasajeros. Also, V\u00edctor Luis N\u00fa\u00f1ez, to direct the Direcci\u00f3n de Seguridad Vial; Mar\u00eda Paz Conde, director of the Direcci\u00f3n de Tr\u00e1nsito y Viabilidad, and C\u00e1ndido Cordero, director of the Direcci\u00f3n de Veh\u00edculos de Motor.<\/p>\n<p>The Presidency named regional coordinators: Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel S\u00e1nchez for the del Valle region and Deidania del Carmen Ferreira Rojas, for the North Cibao region.
