The request was made by business organizations. The measure is temporary while the Ministry of Public Works completes a new road (Circunvalaci\u00f3n de Santo Domingo) that would divert cargo traffic around the city.<\/p>\n<p>Trucks will now be able to travel on the Malecon Monday to Friday from 12 midnight to 2pm from Calle Arzobispo Meri\u00f1o to Av. Maximo Gomez. After 2pm. On Saturday, the trucks will be able to travel from 12 midnight to 12 noon.
