Bahuaud has been a member of the National Symphony Orchestra and founder of Ars Nova classical music trio after migrating to the Dominican Republic over 50 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNunca como antes en las noches, los colores fueron tan brillantes,\u201d (Never before at night, the colors were so bright) is the name of the ballet. The ballet is choreographed and directed by Carlos Veit\u00eda, dancer-choreographer, who has also directed the Dominican National Ballet. Veit\u00eda explained that the Bahuaud years ago handed him a musical score and told him to use it as he saw fit. Veit\u00eda said the moment was now to present the ballet choreographed to the music by Bahuaud.<\/p>\n<p>Maikel Acosta has the leading role, accompanied by dancers of the national ballet company. Scenography is by Amneris Parra, lighting by Rub\u00e9n Lara, rehearsals are by Lisbell Piedra. The ballet will be performed at the Palacio de Bellas Artes on 3, 4 and 5 November 2017 at 8:30pm.
