The fall season of the National Symphony Orchestra ends on Wednesday, 25 October 2017, with a closing concert at the Carlos Piantini Hall of the National Theater. National Symphony resident director Santy Rodr\u00edguez will be conducting the orchestra. Rodr\u00edguez studied at the Real Cosnervatorio Superior in Madrid.<\/p>\n
On the program are works by Mussorgsky, Nielsen and Dovarak. These are:
\nNight on the Bare Mountain, Modest Mussorgsky (popularized by the Disney Film \u201cFantasia\u201d)
\nConcert for Clarinet and Orchestra, Carl Nielsen.
\nSymphony No. 9 in E minor, “From the New World”, Op. 95, Antonin Dvorak (1893)<\/p>\n
