Pe\u00f1a was removed after appearing for a TV interview with Ortega and not being able to respond to several questions about his personal finances.<\/p>\n<p>Alicia Ortega in her El Informe TV investigative show revealed that Pe\u00f1a granted multi-million contracts to nine companies owned by persons with personal ties to him, including his son, son-in-law, brother-in-law and a lifetime friend. The report also found irregularities in 1,400 contracts that were reviewed, that showed red flags in price comparisons.<\/p>\n<p>Among the companies mentioned are: Mantade, Excavaciones y Construcciones Kata, Constructora Facenda, M. G\u00f3mez Business Construction and \u00c1lvarez Feliz.
