The Tigres del Licey are on a roll and could very well defeat the unfortunate Estrellas Orientales of San Pedro de Macoris. The first three positions of the round robin are already decided, going to the Gigantes del Cibao, Aguilas Cibae\u00f1as and the Leones del Escogido.<\/p>\n
The Licey is in fourth place, but the Estrellas could still swing a tie because they are only a game away. Once the fourth place is decided on 21 December, with the 50 games of the regular season played, the Dominican Winter Professional League takes a break and returns the next week for the round robin to decide the playoffs.<\/p>\n
