There are suits and countersuits involving tens of millions of pesos.<\/p>\n<p>The face-off between Santiago Mayor Abel Martinez and the administrator of Coraasan, Silvio Duran, has its origin in a lawsuit against the city government. In July 2017 the Coraasan lawyers presented a lawsuit against the city government calling for the payment of RD$185 million for sewage and water services from 1999 until the present.
