Total is the world&#8217;s 4th-ranked international oil and gas company and a major player in low-carbon energy solutions. The company is an important solar energy producer with the brands SunPower and Total Solar.<\/p>\n<p>Total recently purchased dozens of Shell fueling stations throughout the country and rebranded them. \u201cWe arrived to the Dominican Republic in January 2016 with the purchase of 70% of the V Energy corporation, said Philippe Jaurrey, CEO and general manager of V Energy, as reported in a Presidency press release.
