These are five-year RD peso bonds valued at RD$40 billion (US$822 million) at an 8.9% yield and another for 30-year US$1 billion at a 6.5% yield.<\/p>\n<p>Guerrero says that the placement in pesos, a country first, reduces the exchange risk for the country.
