This replaces services offered at the San Bartolom\u00e9 public hospital that has been demolished to be replaced by a new medical center at the same site. President Danilo Medina used the trip to Neyba to also make the symbolic dig to mark the start of construction of the San Bartolom\u00e9 public hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The Neyba diagnostics clinic will temporarily provide for first level health services for the residents of the municipalities of Galv\u00e1n, Villa Jaragua, Los R\u00edos, Las Clavellinas, La Teja and El Salado while the new Neyba hospital is built.<\/p>\n<p>The new diagnostics center will be offering emergency services, consulting rooms, and diagnostic imaging. It has areas for gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, dentistry, psychology, sonography, laboratory, x-rays, pharmacy and vaccinations with the latest technology and equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Patients requiring hospitalization will be transferred to the public hospital in Galvan that is about five minutes away.
