Mexico maintains a growth forecast of 2.3% but Chile has increased its forecast (from 3 % to 3.4 %) along with Ecuador (from 2.2 % to 2.5 %). The figures in the region are also affected by the economic crisis in Venezuela with a contraction of growth estimated at 15% for this year and 6% for 2019.
