The Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) is a multilateral development bank that is currently owned by 19 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe as well as 14 private banks from the Andes region of Latin America. The DR has been a member since 2004, but the new status would increase the country\u2019s access to bank funds.
